Mirabelle

Hi, Colorado! I'm Mirabelle, a small kitty with a BIG personality. I'm about 10 months old, spayed, and fully vaccinated. 

My story is very unique and means I'm an extra special girl! I was born in Kuwait, where I initially roamed the streets looking for food and safety. When a kind rescuer found me, my right eye was in bad shape. So now I'm a little cyclops, but I don't let that slow me down! Kuwait is a hard place to be a cat, and my rescuers wanted a better life for me. So I traveled a looooong way to Colorado for a chance at a better life!

The journey to CO was very difficult for me, but after a few weeks in foster, I'm starting to decompress. I have a very affectionate side to my personality - I like to sit on laps and receive love! Because I'm still learning to trust again, I sometimes become a little feisty and overstimulated when receiving affection. For that reason, I'm best suited for a home with humans over 12 years old. I'll thrive with an adopter who is patient while I re-learn that the world can be a safe place.
